Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK’s fastest growing type of waste.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.
We’re proud to support your local authority in providing local recycling facilities for electrical equipment.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with this symbol) in your bin.
What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. WEEE became law in 2007. It is end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment and covers virtually everything with a plug or battery. It is classed as either household or non-household WEEE. Your airBody Dryer® is classed as household.
How are we helping?
airTeem® is classed as ‘producer’ and ‘distributor’. As a small producer we register and provide information directly to the Environmental Agency, in tonnes, of household EEE that we have http://quotecorner.com/online-pharmacy.html placed on the market. Our Producer Registration number is WEE/GF4237XX.
As a distributor we must also provide a system which helpfully allow all body dryer customers the opportunity to recycle their old body dryers when they become WEEE. This includes any body dryer apresshower®, dryMe, Tornado etc free of charge.
How do I return or recycle my airBody Dryer®?
Under the terms of the WEEE directive, we provide a way for you to dispose or return your airBody Dryer®.
We will take back your airBody Dryer® free of charge on site or you can dispose of it at your local Designated Collection Facility.
In Store Take Back-You can drop your WEEE body dryer directly back at our site. Alternatively, we offer a free UK collection service. You will need to get in touch for us to organise its collection. You can email us at email@example.com or phone on 0161 761 7014.
